This project was created as an assignment in Planning Interactive Curriculum Connections, an online class offered by Berrien RESA and taught by Janine Lim.
Topic: An Elementary Approach to Creative Writing
Description: This distance learning project is designed for elementary school students to get excited about their writing. Each student will create/illustrate their own original monster and then write a detailed descriptive paper. These papers are then switched with another classroom. Then a student in the new classroom will read the paper carefully and create/illustrate the monster the best that they can. Then through a 40-45 minute video conference students will compare the new drawings with the owner's original and see how closely they match.
