  1. Metas/Goals top
    1. Use Internet and CD-ROM as resources to discover the impact of Spain in the present day Mexico and the SouthWestern United States
    2. Determine the relationship of other contemporary world events to the Spanish colonization of the South West.
    3. Experience a typical Spanish Mission via the WWW.
    4. Learn vocabulary for items that are new to the Americas and new to Europe.
    5. Trace the Camino Real to understand the deep connection of Spain to the Western United States
    6. Use Written Spanish to create first hand impressions of the experiences.
  2. Rubric top
    1. Each assignment will be graded on:
      1. clarity, neatness, correct Spanish where appropriate, obvious attention to detail. You may be asked to redo your work if it does not meet expectations.
        1. An "A" packet is complete and follows the guidelines above.
        2. A "B" is a complete packet but is lacking in at least two of the
        3. A "C" does not meet the criteria above and will be redone.
